Big Sea for Creative

Free shared working space for local freelancers

As more people look for the work life balance, Urban Reef is offering free work space to freelancers and those working away from the office this winter.

The first and second floor are open to those wanting a creative space with sea views.

Mark Cribb – owner of Urban Reef said: “ We get people from as far a-field as London, setting up their laptop for the day – just so they have the view, good coffee and food and the creative vibe that oozes from the restaurant. The beach has to be the most inspiring place to be if you’re trying to get some work done which is why we are encouraging people to use the space this winter.”

The restaurant on one of Britain’s most famous beaches, has triple height glass frontage flooding the restaurant with natural sunlight– banishing those winter blues that can grab hold of some office workers.

Even the Urban Reef creative team base themselves in an adjacent 1960’s beach ‘pod’ which was regenerated and updated by the creative fashion designer and manufacturer – Wayne Hemingway – co-founder of Red or Dead.
